Article 1 - Purpose of the privacy policy

This privacy policy is established to inform users of the "How To?" website owned and managed by CHC COMPANY SRL, hereinafter referred to as "the Company", of the following terms and conditions:

  • - Personal data collected by the website
  • - The use made of this data
  • - Access to this data
  • - The rights of site users
  • - Policy on the use of cookies

This privacy policy operates in parallel with the site's general terms and conditions.

Article 2 - Applicable laws

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, this privacy policy is subject to the following regulations:

Personal data is: processed in a lawful and transparent manner; collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes, and will not be further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes. In accordance with Article 89(1) of the GDPR, the storage and processing of such data for archival purposes in the public interest, for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes, shall not be considered incompatible with the original purposes; adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed; accurate, and if necessary kept up to date. All reasonable steps will be taken to correct data that is incorrect with regard to the purpose for which it is collected; kept in a form that allows identification of the data subjects for a period of time sufficient for processing; processed in a way that guarantees the security of the data, including with regard to unauthorized or unlawful processing, loss or destruction of the data, whether accidental or intentional.

Article 3 - Consent

By using the " How To? " site, users consent to :

  • - All the conditions included in the present privacy policy.
  • - The collection, use and storage of the data listed in this privacy policy.

Article 4 - Personal data collected

When browsing the "How To?" site, various personal data about users is collected.

  • - Information provided by users for contractual purposes and to enable the proper performance of reciprocal obligations, i.e. surname, first name and address, and more generally any information voluntarily provided by the user.
  • - Information provided by users when filling in forms or contacting us by telephone, e-mail or other means, such as name, address, e-mail address and telephone number.
  • - With regard to each user's visit to the site, the information automatically collected is: a. IP address, browser type and model, time zone, operating system; b. All information concerning the pages that the user has consulted on the site, in particular the URL, browsing time, etc.

No additional data is collected without informing you in advance.

Article 5 - Data processing

Personal data collected on the "How To?" site is collected and processed solely for the purposes specified in this privacy policy and/or on the relevant pages of the site. The personal data we collect will not be used for any other purpose.

  • - To carry out the services offered and agreed upon on the site;
  • - To carry out marketing activities and promotional information with the user's prior consent and until such consent is revoked, for example by sending promotions on the controller's products;
  • - To answer the user's questions;
  • - To compile statistics in order to improve the website, the services offered and the internal organization of operations;
  • - To improve the quality of the site and the products offered by the data controller;
  • - To enable better identification of the user's interests.

Article 6 - Sharing of collected personal data

Personal data may be shared with third-party companies exclusively within the European Union, in the following cases:

  • - when the user uses the payment services, for the implementation of these services, the Company is in contact with third-party banking and financial companies with which it has signed contracts;
  • - when the user authorizes a third-party website to access his/her data;
  • - when the user publishes publicly accessible information in the Company's free comment areas;
  • - when the Company uses the services of service providers to provide user support, advertising and payment services. These service providers have limited access to the user's data for the purposes of providing these services, and are contractually obliged to use it in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data;
  • - if required by law, the Company may transmit data in order to pursue claims against the Company and to comply with administrative and legal proceedings.

Article 7 - Storage and protection of personal data

The Company does not store personal data longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is collected.

Article 8 - User rights

In accordance with Chapter 3, art 12-23 of the RGPD, users of the "How To?" website have the following rights with regard to their personal data: right of access, right of rectification, right to erasure, right to restrict processing, right to data portability, right to object.

Article 9 - Cookie policy

A cookie is an electronic file deposited on a terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) and read, for example, when consulting a website, reading an e-mail, installing or using software or a mobile application, regardless of the type of terminal. The site may automatically collect standard information. Any information collected indirectly will only be used to monitor the volume, type and pattern of traffic using this site, to develop the design and layout of the site and for other administrative and planning purposes, and generally to improve the service we offer you. Where applicable, "cookies" issued by the site editor and/or third-party companies may be deposited on your terminal, with your consent. In this case, in accordance with the RGPD, the first time you browse this site, a banner explaining the use of "cookies" will appear. Users are advised to check this policy regularly to keep up to date with our policy in terms of the collection and processing of personal data.
